Sensory Profiling
Sensory profiling is an assessment which results in the unique sensory profile for each individual which explains how they experience and process sensory information.
Our senses include: What we hear (auditory), what we see (visual), what we smell (olfactory), what we taste (gustatory), our sense of touch (tactile), our sense of balance (vestibular), the sense that tells the body where it is in space (proprioception) and awareness of our internal state (interoception).
From this profile sensory supports and programs can be designed for the individual to help with their sensory regulation.
